Terms of Service

1. Who we are

GeoFundamentals (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at geofundamentals.com. By accessing or using our website, tools, or services (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and GeoFundamentals.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that this is the case. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Permitted use

Our tools and services are provided for legitimate business and personal use to analyse and improve GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) visibility. You agree not to:

• Submit URLs, content, or brand names you do not own or have permission to analyse
• Use the Service to generate, distribute, or publish misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our tools, scoring methodology, or proprietary outputs
• Use automated means to access the Service at a rate that unreasonably burdens our infrastructure
• Resell or white-label our tools or outputs without prior written agreement
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law

4. Free tools

Our free tools are provided at no cost and without any guarantee of availability, accuracy, or ongoing access. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any free tool at any time without notice. Free tools are intended for individual use; commercial resale of free tool outputs is not permitted without our written consent.

5. Paid plans and subscriptions

Access to Pro tools (including the GEO Rewriter, Image Alt Text Optimiser, and AI Citation Alert) requires a paid subscription. By purchasing a plan you agree to the following:

• Billing — subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
• Cancellation — you may cancel at any time by contacting us at hello@geofundamentals.com. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time unless required by law.
• Price changes — we will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase to active subscribers.
• Failed payments — if a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment is resolved.

6. Done-for-you services

Where you engage us to provide a done-for-you GEO audit or content service, a separate written scope of work will be agreed before any work commences. Payment terms, deliverables, timelines, and revision rounds will be set out in that document. These Terms apply alongside any such agreement.

7. Accuracy of results

GEO scores, citation monitoring results, and content recommendations are based on publicly available research and our own proprietary methodology. They represent our assessment at a specific point in time. AI engine behaviour changes frequently, and we do not guarantee that following our recommendations will result in improved AI citation rates. Results may vary significantly depending on your industry, content quality, and competitive landscape.

8. Intellectual property

All content on GeoFundamentals — including written copy, code, design, scoring algorithms, and report formats — is the intellectual property of GeoFundamentals unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, sublicense, or commercialise our content without prior written permission.

Content you generate using our tools — such as your llms.txt file, schema markup, answer capsules, or alt text suggestions — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your inputs or your generated outputs.

9. Third-party AI services

Our Pro tools use third-party AI APIs including Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, and Perplexity Sonar. Content you submit may be processed by these providers in accordance with their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the outputs of third-party AI models. You should not submit content that is confidential, commercially sensitive, or contains personal data of third parties to our AI-powered tools.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GeoFundamentals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to GeoFundamentals in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GeoFundamentals and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK, in which case the courts of your place of residence may also have jurisdiction.

14. Changes to terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes to active paying subscribers. For free users, changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance.
